Coincidence in TV-shows

Some TV-shows have incredible coincidences in their stories. The top on my list of coindicidences is definitely McCullum, about people who perform autopsies for the police. It seems that about one quarter of the dead people ending up on their table, was someone they knew vaguely. London is so big that it seems unlikely that they ever would have someone on their table that they knew. And quite some of the murderers was someone they knew vaguely as well.

The same with the Swedish series Kurt Wallander. In the first episode they are after an extremist group that is against abortion. It turns out that the roommate of a woman investigating the case was in the group, she was even the daughter of the leader. That makes for a very dramatic ending, but it still is an incredible coincidence.

I wouldn't mind so much aboyt these coincidences, if at least someone would scream for at least 30 seconds what an incredible coincidence it was. But no, they just continue doing what it was thet were doing. Oh well, maybe I should learn to just enjoy the stories.
