Tech product placement

I just read a suprising article about product placement in TV-shows and movies. Companies even bid to have their products used by the good guys, so the bad guys use a competitors product. Apple seems to be using it a lot.

Not so disturbing, although it might give away early who is a traitor by the product he/she is using, as happened in 24, my all-time favourite action-series. Thank god I didn't notice that, it would have spoilt the fun.
